Project: clean a customer list
Take a messy customer export and make it usable: tidy the names, split each customer code into country and store, build labels, flag who to reward or follow up, look up country names safely and sort customers into tiers.
Exercise 1 of 8
Step 1: tidy the names
This customer list came out of an old system: the names in column B have stray spaces and random capitals. In E2:E9, clean them with TRIM inside PROPER.
