About FormulaDojo

FormulaDojo teaches Excel by doing. You read a short lesson, then practise in a real spreadsheet right in your browser.

Learn by doing

Each lesson is short and ends with exercises in a spreadsheet that runs in your browser. Your answer is checked instantly, and when something is off, you get an explanation of the mistake, not just a red cross.

In your Excel language

FormulaDojo works in English, French, German, Brazilian Portuguese and Spanish, with the function names you see at work: VLOOKUP becomes RECHERCHEV, SVERWEIS, PROCV or BUSCARV.

Argument separators (, or ;), decimal commas and error codes follow your language too. If you type a formula in English or with the other separator, it is converted for you.

What you can learn today

Lessons available now: Intro to Excel, First formulas, SUM, AVERAGE, SUMIF, COUNTIF, IF and VLOOKUP. More are planned.

Lesson 1 is free and needs no account. Lesson 2, First formulas, needs a free account. Every later lesson is part of Premium, which you can pay for monthly, yearly or once.

An independent project

FormulaDojo is independent. Formulas are calculated in your browser.
